SANNI / TRIPPI TOUR 2019
'Trippi' Tour was a large concept of recognizable visualization, which encompassed the entire visual branding of the artist, from performance costumes to album covers and tour visuals. In addition to animations I illustrated the covers for the vinyl format of the 'Trippi' album. RGB -colors, ultra-realistic and futuristic aesthetics were the center focus of the visual appearance. The themes were inspired by the lyrics of the songs and the ideas were spiced up with science fiction elements.
For the project I wanted to take advantage of all the knowledge and skills I had accumulated over the past 3 years, by bringing them together. Workflows were complicated and I covered large technical structures. 3D modeling/sculpting, texturing, animations, simulations and the editing of the content, were the base operations of the work. Basically, I created the 3D content and then edited them to the songs with timecode.
In this project I mainly focused in advanced animation and simulation techniques like particle meshing, inverse kinematic/IK spline, fluid and hair simulations, X-particles and RealFlow. Also the main idea was to render high quality animations and to achieve modern 3D aesthetics. In the workflow I used ZBrush, Blender and Moi3D for the modeling and sculpting, Cinema4D for the animations, simulations and redering, Keyshot for the rendering, Substance Painter for the texturing and Marvelous Designer for the cloth simulations and clothing design. I also made innovative rigging, especially for the snakes and robot -characters that I wanted to animate as realistcally as possible.
