D.R.E.A.M.G.I.R.L.S
D.R.E.A.M.G.I.R.L.S was a female rap collective with artists Yeboyah, Nisa, F, Adikia, Mon-sala, B.W.A and Sofa. I worked as the visual director of the project. The main idea of the collective was to create platform and give a voice to LGBTQIA/female makers of the Finnish rap industry. Our goal was to defend the values ​​of intersectional feminism, anti-discrimination and anti-racism. On our debut gig at Flow Festival 2018 / Lapin Kulta Red Arena, we performed for 15000 people. We also had gigs at Tavastia and Ruisrock, for example.

 
My work in the project centered in character design. I made animations for all of the artist individually and created 3D characters of them. In the work I also used a lot of particle system techniques. The theme was to 'take a ride in the D.R.E.A.M -galaxy', where equality, freedom and justice are fully achieved. The work contained colorful space aesthetics with asteroids and other particle systems. One of the most time consuming parts of the work was to design and create believable cyborg figures build the sci-fi city animation, which served as the culmination of the performance. The work contained a lot of modeling and sculpting, which I implemented with softwares like MoI3D, Zbrush and Autodesk Maya.
